| InterWEST Technologies strives to be a positive influence in our community. We believe that being a responsible business means reaching beyond our employees and even our customer base. We have sought out organizations who have a positive and practical impact in our community. Through their efforts this city is becoming a better place to live. This is part of our core values in two ways. First, a portion of our corporate profits are donated to the organizations listed below. Second, we encourage our employees to take active roles in the operations of organizations such as these. |
Rightway Automotive
RightWay Automotive (RWA) offers disadvantaged individuals and families free or heavily discounted vehicle repairs. RWA accepts, refurbishes, and bestows donated vehicles to those who qualify. Teams of volunteer mechanics eliminate costly labor charges, while partnerships with local parts suppliers further discount repair bills for our clients. Our customer-care volunteers work closely with those requesting service through an application process. |

The Downtown Soup Kitchen
The Downtown Soup Kitchen (DSK) provides a full stomach and a hand up to the working poor and street people of Anchorage. Each day an average of 350 meals are served during the lunch hour. The DSK is open year round, providing hot meals, emergency clothing and food bags to those in need. A home adjacent to the original DSK property is currently being leased to provide showers and laundry service for clients who are able to find and keep jobs. The DSK is a separate 501(c) 3 non-profit, and is funded primarily through individuals, churches and local businesses. Changing the lives of clients and volunteers at the Downtown Soup Kitchen in practical and tangible ways. |
